There’s No Such Thing as a “Quick Change”
Even small edits can create ripple effects across layout, design, formatting, and production workflows. Every adjustment—whether to a sentence, a photo, or a layout—requires review, coordination, and in many cases, re-exporting or re-prepping final files. Late-stage edits or unclear feedback can derail timelines, especially if additional vendor coordination is required.
To help set expectations, here are common revision types and their estimated turnaround times:
Text Edits (Light): ~2 hours
Minor punctuation, grammar, or style corrections (based on ~6 pages)
Text Edits (Heavy): ~3 hours
Revisions involving sentence restructuring, formatting, tone, and layout changes (based on ~6 pages)
Layout Edits: ~3–10 hours
Content updates that require image swaps, photo retouching, design adjustments, or formatting revisions (based on ~6 pages; more time needed for complex layouts)
