OMC Approval Requirements

All marketing materials representing Loyola University New Orleans—whether created in-house, by students, freelancers, contractors, consultants, external agencies, or vendors—must be reviewed and approved by the Office of Marketing and Communications prior to production or distribution if they meet any of the following criteria:

  • Use of the Loyola logo, seal, name, or other official brand assets
  • Intended for public or external audiences (e.g., prospective students, alumni, donors, partners, or media)
  • Promotional items or apparel (e.g., T-shirts, tote bags, pens, giveaways)
  • Distribution at public events, off-campus venues, or through digital channels
  • Printed, manufactured, or mass-produced materials

This includes—but is not limited to—flyers, posters, brochures, presentations, videos, social media graphics, digital ads, signage, and merchandise.

Materials may be submitted for OMC review using the MARKETING APPROVAL FORM.

Approval Timeline

All branded materials submitted for OMC review must be provided a minimum of two (2) weeks before your intended production or distribution deadline. Complex or high-volume projects may require additional time.

Materials produced or distributed without required approval may be subject to cancellation, redesign, or removal from circulation.
