Bio
Julia LeBlanc serves as Director of Communications for Loyola University New Orleans, where she leads strategic messaging, media relations, and brand alignment in support of the university’s academic mission and Jesuit values.
She brings extensive experience in public relations, brand strategy, and executive communications across domestic and international markets. LeBlanc has held senior leadership roles in the fine jewelry industry, including Vice President of Marketing and Communications and Global Brand Ambassador for Marco Bicego, and Global Public Relations and Events Director for David Yurman.
She is also the founder of JLA Communications, where she advised organizations on communications strategy, brand development, and external engagement. Her work spans diverse sectors including architecture and design, fine art, and disaster response and recovery, reflecting a broad and adaptable approach to communications and brand strategy.
LeBlanc holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Sociology from Roanoke College. She lives in Uptown New Orleans with her two daughters, who attend the Academy of the Sacred Heart, and is active in animal rescue efforts. As a neighbor to the university, she is deeply invested in its continued growth and impact, as well as in the strength of the surrounding community.
