Procedure: Content Management

Access to update sections of the Loyola University New Orleans website are granted to faculty and staff of Loyola.

All editors of the Loyola website must be trained on basic procedures and best practices for content management.

  1. Start by requesting a user account
Complete a Web Request Form to request an account be created. Each office, college, department, center, or institute should have at least one person designated to update content on the website.
  2. Watch our training videos
Once you receive your user account, please take some time to watch our training videos. The videos will walk you through the steps for editing the website. Training videos, for now, are only available for limited versions of the content management system used to update the website. If videos are not available for your account, a member of our staff will meet with you in person for training.
  3. Attend an in-person training
Once you have watched the training videos, if you have questions while completing your updates on the website, request a time to meet with a member of our team to learn more through our Web Request Form.
