A proud alumna of Loyola University New Orleans, Rachel Hoormann joined the Office of Marketing and Communications in August 2019.
Prior to this appointment, Rachel served in various communications roles at Tulane University for 19 years, most recently as Executive Director of University Web Communications. In this role, she led a team of content creators, designers, and developers to maintain Tulane University’s websites, social media accounts, and overall digital footprint. In addition, she has participated in creative re-branding projects, magazine redesigns, and has been on the front line of crisis communication, most notably during Hurricane Katrina.
When she is not scrolling through email or social media on her phone, Rachel enjoys a variety of fiber arts, reading, and binging TV shows.
